The LA Riot Squad was established in 2001 as the anti supporter's group loyal to the Los Angeles Galaxy.
The group does not have dues, membership, or band practice. If you want to be a part of the most infamous supporter's group in LA get a ticket in sections 137/138 and join us.
The group was founded after Kevin Hartman approached a few and offered a deal: Put together a group of about 100 fans to stand, sing & support the team and they'd get a keg of beer. The rest is history.
Starting with our name, a tongue-in-cheek reference to the infamous Los Angeles Riot of 1992, standing with LARS is a different type of supporter's experience. We're there to support the team, watch a game with friends and have a few beers.
We pride ourselves on supporting the team, but also pressuring the visitors; over the years LARS has put together a nice list of people whose skin we've gotten under including multiple players from just about every team in MLS. The Riot Squad is not interested in making white noise that any professional athlete can block out, but rather in being attentive, responsive to the game, and in making the opposition spend more time thinking about LARS than he does thinking about the game.
We have proudly stood by the LA Galaxy for 10 years; come stand with us for many more...
Join LARS pre-game at the Home Depot center for all LA Galaxy home games.
We are in the grass area immediately up against the stadium nearest to the NorthEast entrance. It's in Lot 13 right up against the back of the stadium scoreboard.
It's BYOB and just to be safe you will need to bring red cups (no bottles or cans please). If you want to bring a growler or similar please be very discrete about it.
Grilling with an open flame (gas or charcoal grills) is not permitted. We have electric grills (that are allowed) and are available at most games.
To be sure the grills will available and for any special festivities (DJ's, Live Bands etc...), you should check the forums for information relating to the upcoming game.
